The Biggest Distraction Most Entrepreneurs Overlook

Welcome back to another episode of the Attention Audit podcast, I am so excited that you are here!

Before we dive into today’s podcast episode I want to remind you that I’m hosting a 5-day challenge starting on Monday, August 28th called Your Most Productive Week. Each day during the challenge, I’ll be delivering training inside our private Facebook group. If you’re a service provider or course creator wanting to create results on repeat, join this challenge. Bonus: it’s completely free!

Also, the doors to my signature 6-week group coaching program will be opening that Thursday, and I’ll be inviting you to work with me for 6 weeks. Click here to learn more and get on the waitlist!

All that said, let’s dive into this week’s episode!

This week I’m talking about things that are all around us and that while sometimes can be a good thing, are oftentimes just big distractions. These my friends, are opportunities. While opportunities can be abundant, they can also distract us from our goal, and where we want to go. As business owners, we need to create a ‘filter’ to help us choose which of the opportunities will help us propel our business forward, which in turn, will help us determine which opportunities will only be a distraction from reaching our goals.

You need to decide what will point you in the direction of your goals. What do you want to achieve? Will this opportunity get you there, or will it take your valuable time away from achieving something that will get you closer to your actual goal? Are you honoring what you’ve decided your priorities are? Is this opportunity going to fuel your focus?

Take a few moments the next time a new opportunity arises and think on that this week, then tag me over on Instagram and share how you filtered through it with me @attentionaudit.

That’s all I have for you this week. Talk to you next week, friend!
